Description
This dungeon becomes a Side Dungeon once you finish the Main Quests in the Dry Steppes.
Stepping into the murky dampness of this dungeon is not quite as dangerous as it’s nearby Guulrahn Slums neighbor, but it is still bursting with nasty wildlife ready to kill you quickly - If you don’t like spiders, you aren’t going to enjoy the next 20 minutes or so of your life. Toxic Lurkers, Arachnid Horrors and Plagued Creepers abound, along with a sprinkling of the undead for good measure.
Starting off easy enough, well in terms of mission at least you just need to kill absolutely everything in the starting area - The Offal Pits. From there you get to move on to the Drenched Nests while you will be met by some stern resistance, and also, two levers that must be pulled to progress.
By now, you will have probably seen the set-up before in other dungeons. The levers are surrounded by spikes which rise and fall, so the key is to activate it before they shoot up and stab you, causing you to become vulnerable. The other thing of note about this room is the battle that takes place here is tricky because while you are fighting off the hordes of enemies, it is easy to wander into an area that has spikes, and cause yourself a considerable mischief by accident. If your health is already low when this happens, you can find yourself in a tight spot.
One you have cleared the room, pull the levers and the barrier will vanish allowing you progress on to the Drenched Nests.
Your next, and indeed final job is to now locate and destroy a Corpse Pile and a Cocoon to complete the dungeon and get your hands on the Aspect. Once again, these are not simple to do as they are heavily guarded, however, at least there is no real dungeon boss lying in wait for you at the end of this one.
