Detailed Location

This quest can be started from multiple places such as Husun in the northwest of Ked Bardu, or notices in Alzuuda. Either way, they all send you to the same place, Alzuuda. Once you have the quest accepted, head to Alzuuda, and speak to Lakren who is north of the waypoint.

After speaking to him, you’ll have to meet him at The Lost Monument, which happens to be situated on the northwestern cliff of The Scarred Coast in a small area called Cenotaph of the Devout. As you approach the Monument, a cellar will appear right next to it. Enter the “Lost Monument Crypt”.

Head into the nearby large room where you’ll find Lakren, and he’ll tell you that your sacrifice will begin the rebuilding of the world. Before you know it, he’ll attack you, but will only take a few hits before he runs to the Gospel near the altar.

This summons a Tainted Vile Overseer Elite with the Plaguebearer modifier. Like Lakren, this shouldn’t cause you too many problems. Once defeated, head over to the Gospel and interact with it. Reading it will complete the quest.

In-Game Description

A builder named Lakren has put out a call for workers to find him in Alzuuda if they wish to help “rebuild Sanctuary.”
I should seek out this Lakren and inquire about his offer.
Lakren suggests we can rebuild Sanctuary one brick at a time. I need only to meet him near the Lost Monument on The Scarred Coast to begin this work.
