Objectives

Speak to Mochrann
Speak to Mochrann at the marker and it will follow you into the woods. Go to the marker point and protect Mochrann as he performs the cleansing ritual.
Bring Mochrann to the next font of corruption
After cleansing one area, Mochrann will head off to the next point on the map. Do the same thing again by protecting it.
Slay corrupted beasts near Mochrann
You will face corrupted versions of enemies as you progress the quest so be careful.
Bring Mochrann to the final font of corruption
Once again, follow Mochrann through the woods and stop at the last font. A last, much larger wave of corrupted beasts will spawn so kill them.
Return to Shob’ha
After you’re done with the rituals, return to Shob’ha to receive your reward and finish the quest.

Note: This will also complete the A Deepening Shadow questline and earn you the Challenge achievement.

This quest begins after completing the side quest The Old Ways.

To cleanse the Dark Thicket, I need to escort Shob’ha’s familiar, Mochrann, to the worst areas and protect it while it performs the ritual.

I have cleansed two areas of corruption within the Dark Thicket. Only one other remains.
