Background / History
- Constructed in 1798 to house the state government, it replaced the Old State House until the formation of the Thirteen Commonwealths in 1969.
- Before the Great War, Lieutenant Governor Graham declared martial law in Boston from within the State House.
Layout
- The exterior features a pre-War plaque and a Freedom Trail marker, marking it as the second stop on the Freedom Trail.
- Inside, the building is infested with mirelurks and occupied by raiders seeking valuables left behind.

- State House note: Found on the second floor, on a dead scavenger in the room with the cooking station.
- Overdue book: Located on the first floor, leaning against a desk in a room with a collapsed ceiling.
- Raider power armor: Carried by the raider leader on the third floor.
- Mini nuke: Found on the third floor, on a bookshelf in the final room before the elevator.

- A jet pack is required to access a hidden room with a skeleton surrounded by teddy bears and a dose of Psycho.
- Without a jet pack, players must navigate through the mirelurk-infested basement and upward through the raider base to exit the building after jumping down a large hole in the atrium.
