Enter the Umbral and defeat the Scarlett Shadow, which is the red reaper type enemy that appear when you reach the max amount of Dread you can have. The Scarlett Shadow is killable, and if you struggle with it, we recommend taking a look at this cheese which you can do by Soul Flaying the creature off a high ledge.
