Regain Strength Main Episode
Description
Luffy and the others defeat the Thunder
Colossus and obtain cubes of various sizes,
but the Colossus uses its last bit of
strength to unleash a powerful lightning
attack that comes right for Usopp’s nose.
However, Adio uses his Grab-Grab Fruit power
to block it at the last second. With this,
the last of the crew’s suspicions towards
Adio are lifted. Adio picks up a red ball
lying on the ground next to the Colossus.
Apparently, this is a necessary item for
their adventure on the island. Meanwhile,
Smoker and Tashigi look over Waford
from the deck of a marine ship. A beam
of light suddenly shoots into the sky from the
island, making the pair extremly
suspicious.
Back at the hut, the crew tries to force the
large cubes they got into their bodies, but
it doesn’t go well. Adio tells them that the
only one who knows how to absorb it is Lim,
so they go look for her. At the time, Lim
is at the inland sea, talking to the voice
in her head. She wants to help Adio, but
the voice disagrees. Just as Lim is
about to retort, Luffy and the crew arrive.
The Straw Hats ask Lim how to put the large
cubes into their bodies, and she answers
begrudgingly. She tells them that small
cubes are absorbed instantly, but for a
large cube to return they must “relive the
memory inside.” However, the crew doesn’t
understand. Lim says it will be faster if
they see it for themselves, and the cube
begins spinning in her hand while emitting
a blinding light.
The light from the cube envelopes the crew,
who then find themselves in a strange place.
Luffy instantly call “the strange
place.” Lim sighs and says he can call it
whatever he wants. She tells them that they
can go to Memoria, a world made from their
memories, from this strange place. Luffy and
friends have to go to Memoria and do again
things they’ve done in the past to get the
large cubes into their bodies. Lim says this
is to “follow their accomplishments.” The
crew still doesn’t seem to understand, but
Lim holds up the cube, and the Straw Hat
Pirates are enveloped in light again.
