Full Synchronisation Requirement - Do not lose more than 3 synchronisation points¶
When you take control of Altair, head out through the front door of Masyaf fortress and through the crowd, down the slope carrying the body of your former mentor. When you reach the gate, a short scene with Abbas will play. After it, continue onwards and carry the body to the pyre that has been prepared. While you’re watching the scene unfold, get ready for a rather tricky combat sequence if you want to get full synchronisation! As soon as the scene is over, you’re plunged into combat with a group of Assassins. Guard yourself, and time your counters carefully to disarm them one by one. Unlike in the rest of the game, in specific sequences like this where you have to disarm you don’t need to discard the weapon to continue disarming them, Altair will automatically drop the weapons he takes off of his misguided brother Assassins. Take your time and be careful, you need to avoid losing three bars of health for full synchronisation.
After the cutscene, you need to head up the hill and climb the tower to wrest the apple back from Abbas. This might seem simple, but you need to listen to the growing charging sound the apple makes before a blast occurs and try to time your movements so you won’t fall to your death or injury. Take your time again (but not too long, or Abbas will die!) within reason, and try and be on the platforms in time for the blasts. When you reach the top, interact with the apple to end the Memory, and the Sequence in turn.
