Mammoth Beasts
Description
Mammoths are a type of neutral creature you can find in the snowy biomes in the north of the map. Players can walk by Mammoths freely, and not be threatened unless you enter combat with them, in which, they’ll retaliate.
Mammoths are very sturdy creatures, with lots of HP and armor, so be weary of fighting them, especially since you require strong armor with cold resistance to fight them and no die to the weather. Also, the main move of a Mammoth is charge and trample. Mammoths will charge and continue to charge, causing a trample, somewhat akin to the Elephant’s charge in the Savanna. So, dodging out of the charging direction should be enough to evade any serious threat of the Mammoth.
Killing a Mammoth will award Bones, Exotic Flesh, Fur, Ivory, Mammoth Head, Thick Hide, Elephant Hide, Tusks. Remember to use the correct tool to get more resources from the creature, such as a a pick for bone, hatchets and cleavers for more meat, and a skinning knife for more hide and fur.
