Abyss Worm Wildlife

Description

The kings of the “Worm” family of enemies, the Abyss Worm only spawns in Missions 9-6-1 and 9-6-3, both of which are 10-star missions. They can cast AP Gravija, which will decimate your AP if it hits, they can siphon some of your MP, and they can use Absolute Stop Thread, which will inflict Stop. Otherwise, their melee attacks aren’t too dangerous (relatively speaking), making them a threat to everything except your HP. They have over 100,000 HP, but their VIT and SPR aren’t all that high, and they’re vulnerable to ice, which will help you whittle them down. On their own, they’re not a grave threat - they are noteworthy for possessing SP Mater materia, which you can steal from them (rare).
