The Celebrant’s Sickle scales with Dexterity and is a good Weapon for rune farming.
Lore
Sickle decorated with flowers and many-coloured fabrics. Ceremonial tool used by dancers during the festivities of Dominula. Its attacks can slip through an enemy’s guard. Crafted from human bone. Grants trace amounts of runes on landing attacks.
Location
Rare drop from the Celebrants wielding it at the Windmill Village. These enemies are easily recognizable by their blue coats. Two are found in the large group midway between the Windmill Village and Windmill Heights Sites of Grace. These enemies are passive until provoked, and in addition to the weapon have a chance to drop Human Bone Shards and Golden Runes [3], so farming them can be both easy and lucrative.
Notable Info
This weapon can be infused and buffed. Celebrant’s Sickle can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones
It is advised not to upgrade the Celebrant’s Sickle, as each consecutive hit grants 10 Runes. This Rune gain does not have any delay between hits, and can easily grant as many Runes as the kill itself, given that you have the time.
Hitting the death animation of an enemy continues to grant Runes.
