Instant Death Debuffs

Description

Characters with the Instant Death debuff are instantly killed.

Methods of Application

• Triggered by the Chef’s Knife attack used by Tonberry.
• Triggered by the Well-Honed Knife attack used by Tonberry King.
• Triggered by the Tantrum attack used by Tonberry King.
• Triggered by the Doom and Gloom attack used by Tonberry King.

Opposing Effect

Instant Death is effectively negated by Auto-Life, as the latter will bring a character back to life immediately.

Effects

• Kills the afflicted character immediately.

Protection

• Characters with a Safety Bit equipped are immune to Instant Death.

Duration

Characters will remain dead until revived through any means.

Notes

When going up against enemies like Tonberries, make sure you’ve got a few Phoenix Down or access to spells like Raise and Arise.
