Spruce Wood is one of various woods you’ll need in No Rest for the Wicked. The wood is used in various building projects when you rebuild Sacrament. And, for the most part, it’s fairly easy enough to get from the Nameless Pass. Here are the best farming locations for spruce wood.
Spruce Wood Locations¶
To get your hands on spruce wood, we recommend going to the very start of the Nameless Pass. You should get access to this area as part of the main quest Servant of God. When you can get through the gate, you ideally want to look for the area marked in the image below. The crosses on the map mark the locations of spruce wood Trees that you can cut down.
There are likely a few more in the area, but these are the sources we found that are very easy to come by. Simply enter the Nameless Pass, clear the trees around the campfire and Whisp, then move north into the water and get the lone tree. From there, move south to get the two trees by the side of the road, then climb up the hillside where the enemies spawn. From there, you can cut a few more trees on the hill before looping back around to the Cerim Whisper.
There are a few more trees you can cut down towards the farm and the Old Cottage, but these typically produce Pine Wood instead. After that, the area is typically too rocky for trees, and the other part of the area contains the Quarry, where no trees grow.
So, if you’re in dire need of supplies, make sure to run this spruce wood farm every other in-game day to reach around 6-10 spruce wood Logs, depending on your drop RNG from the trees. We are unaware of any other reliable spruce Wood farms outside of randomly acquiring them from chests. We’ll update the guide with more info as we learn more.
