How to Reach the Tippy Top Oobnet Tower

This page offers a guide on how to get to the top of Tippy Top mountain to reach the Oobnet Tower in Ooblets.

There are several “challenges” to complet along the path to the Tippy Top of the mountain. Below you’ll find instructions on how to complete each task in order to reach the summit.

Dance Battle: Algud

Algud is the first person you’ll come across as you climb the mountain. They tell you that you need an Extreme Mountain Path Walking (EMPW) license. Naturally, you don’t have one of those, but they’re willing to let you head up the mountain if you show your talents in a dance battle!

Algud has a Oogum, Gleamy Radlad and a Moogy in his dance battle. Oogum and Radlad both have warm-up moves that give them big points after a certain amount of turns, so you may want to bring in an ooblet that can cancel warm-ups such as your own Radlad or Whirlitzer. Other than that, the team doesn’t pose too much of a threat so you could bring in a Shrumbo or another high point earning ooblet and make light work of this battle!

How to Make x3 Spaceheaters for Rhimy

After traversing up the mountain for a short period of time you’ll come across Rhimy, who is stood next to frozen luggage. Before you can properly speak to them, you’ll need to progress a little further up the mountain until you’re forced back down because of the bad weather. When you speak to Rhimy, you’ll learn that their luggage has frozen over and they require x3 spaceheaters to melt their luggage. In return, they’ll give you some proper mountain gear that’ll allow you to progress up the mountain.

Rhimy needs 3 spaceheaters.

Before you can make Spaceheaters, you’ll need to unlock the recipe at the Wishy Well for 150 wishies. You can then make the 1 spaceheater at the Fabricuter with the following materials (you need 3 for Rhimy, so triple the numbers) :

Icon Material Quantity
nurny.png Nurnies x10
sprockut.png Sprockuts x2
oobsidian.png Oobsidian x1
spicySpears.png Spicyspear x3

Where to Find Nurnies

Nurnies are a super common material found by smashing rocks on your farm! x30 Nurnies may seem like a lot but you get a few each rock and you can also obtain them from pulling up weeds, though this is a bit less common.

Where to Find Sprockuts

Sprockuts are a mechanical gear-like resource found on the ground in Mamoonia, which is the first place you can travel to beyond Badgetown. You should be able to find x6 easily enough as they’re a pretty common item.

Grab x6 Sprockuts from Mamoonia for the 3 Spaceheaters.

Where to Find Oobsidian

Oobsidian is a bit rarer and you may only find one or two of them once every few days in Badgetown. If you have a gleamy ooblet on your farm then you will have an increased chance of spawning an oobsidian! However, if you’re this late into the game, you may already have a supply of Oobsidians in storage so it might not take that long to collect 3.

After making the 3 spaceheaters, make the trek all the way back to Rhimy on the mountain and deliver them the heaters. In exchange for your help, they’ll give you a mountain jacket! Equip this jacket and you’ll be able to progress a little further up the hill.

Where to Find Spicyspears

In order to get Spicyspears, you’ll need to first unlock level 2 of the Wildlands. This can be done by completing Wildland tasks. The tasks are random but it’ll require something along the lines of cleaning up the mysterious cans, adding a certain ooblet type or locating a missing ooblet.

After reaching level 2, you’ll be able to walk up a ramp to a northern region of the Wildlands where you can now harvest the spicyspear plants. They’re red chilli-like plants!

Spicyspears are found in the northern region of the Wildlands, unlocked at level 2.

Deliver Postcards for Brumallory

As you head further up the mountain, yet again you’ll encounter extreme weathers. This time, you can speak to Brumallory and they’ll offer you some more protective gear if you deliver her postcards to her mates back in Badgetown.

Deliver all 9 Postcards for Brumallory.

There are 9 cards in total to deliver and you’ll need to give them to the following people:

Icon NPC
portrait_churles.png Churles
portrait_dubble.png Dubble
portrait_rugnolia.png Rugnolia
portrait_gloffum.png Officer Zuffle
portrait_meed.png Meed
portrait_outgrid.png Outgrid
portrait_bazil.png Bazil
portrait_sprin.png Sprin
portrait_tinstle.png Mayor Tinstle

After delivering all 9 of her postcards, return all the way back up the mountain and tell Brumallory that you’ve successfully delivered them all. In return, they’ll give you a Mountain Hat. It’s blue and fluffy and you can equip it to progress up Tippy Top mountain.

How to Get a Pickaxe

After progressing a little further up the mountain, you’ll go past a lady called Gelidia who appears to be selling a pickaxe. Before you can interact with her you’ll need to go a bit further past her to witness some rocks blocking your path. When you return back down, she’ll offer you the pickaxe for an obscene amount of gummies but after some discussion she’ll lower the price down to 1000 Gummies. A little more reasonable but still expensive!

Gathering 1000 Gummies might seem like quite a task, but there are lots of ways to earn gummies quickly - head over to our guide on how to earn gummies fast for more information.

(1 of 2) You’ll first need 1000 Gummies to purchase the Pickaxe.

How to Make Creamadroostral Soup

After smashing some of the rocks using the Pickaxe, you’ll be able to proceed up the mountain and soon enough you’ll find that you cannot proceed any further due to the extreme climate. Luckily, Lukold has a solution for you! He’ll give you some mountain boots to help with the trip if you make him some Creamadroostral Soup.

Creamadroostral Soup.

In order to make Creamadroostral Soup, you’ll need the following: x3 Droostral, x1 Pompadoot Juice, x1 Muz Flour, x1 Shelbo and x1 Caroot. And you can only unlock this recipe if you’ve obtained Droostral. Droostral is a crystal like resource that can be obtained from smashing the rocks along the Tippy Top path using your pickaxe.

For more information, head over to our guide on How to Make Creamadroostral Soup.

Once you’ve given Lukold the soup, he’ll give you some mountain boots. Make sure to equip them and you can walk all the way to the top of Tippy Top.

How to Turn on the Tippy Top Oobnet Tower

Once you’ve completed all of the tasks above you’ll finally be able to reach the Tippy Top! You’ll find a few ooblets running around and a lever to turn on Oobnet. You can also sit on the bench to witness a nice view! The bench is a bit weird as you won’t be able to exit the bench unless you close the game at first. After a couple of minutes you’ll get the option to escape so don’t panic!

Don’t forget to pull the lever at the top!

Return to Badgetown and you’ll find that turning on the Oobnet Tower on Tippy Top was enough to power up the Oobnet - yay!
