Location / Where to Find
How to Get Into Ron Hope’s Office: Accessing Ron Hope’s office is relatively straightforward during the Freestar Rangers mission titled “Where Hope is Built.” During this mission, players have the opportunity to ask him questions regarding the theft of one of his spaceships, gaining access to his office as part of the audience. This presents an opportunity to explore and investigate the area.
Why Access Ron Hope’s Office: There are several reasons to gain access to Ron Hope’s office. Firstly, he possesses one of the items required for the Coe Heritage Museum in Akila City. Additionally, his office contains valuable miscellaneous items displayed on his shelves, as well as a book detailing his family line. It’s also implied that there may be more to learn from Ron Hope than what is initially revealed during the first encounter in “Where Hope is Built.”
Accessing the Office Later: If players choose to leave HopeTown and progress through the “Shadows of Neon” questline, Ron Hope’s office will be securely sealed, and acquiring a key becomes necessary. Notably, pickpocketing Ron Hope or his assistant, Cosette, will not yield the required key.
Alternative Entry Method: An alternative method to access Ron Hope’s office is through a back entrance via the factory floor. Upon entering the building, players should head through the closed doors to the left of the front desk. This corridor leads to the factory floor. Proceed up the stairs on either the left or right side until reaching the third floor. From this vantage point, players can see inside Ron Hope’s office, and the door is unlocked, allowing for easy entry. The room’s occupancy may vary depending on the timing of the visit.
