The Lynel, which has appeared in many Zelda games and became notorious in Breath of the Wild, returns in Echoes of Wisdom. However it's not immediately obvious where to find it.
At any point in the game, head to Eternal Forest and look for a set of hoofed footprints further in, south of the next Waypoint. Follow these footprints in the direction they're facing, which will lead you anti-clockwise towards a clearing in the north-east corner.
Normally that clearing is completely empty, but if done correctly, a Lynel will appear there. This Lynel is immensely strong and agile, and it can also resist Bind, so be extremely careful.
Despite its strengths, the Lynel has a key weakness that many monsters share: it cannot swim. So what you can do is carefully lure the Lynel outside the forest and drown it at the moat surrounding Hyrule Castle Town.
In the video, we summoned beds to slow the Lynel down. If you leave the Lynel alone, it can perform a charging attack that is very hard to avoid and deals massive damage. But if there are obstacles, it will jump around instead. (At the very end of the video, it chose to charge anyway.)
