Polora the Feywalker V Blood Carriers (Farnbane Woods)
In-game Description
A powerful psychopomp that taps into mysterious spiritual sources. Polora is one of the only known mortal links to fairy kind and driven to the brink of sanity by her intimate connection to nature. Her dream-like home is alive with unique, enchanted plant life.
Trivia
- Polora used to unlock the Castle Waygate recipe, but this has now been streamlined to unlocking through the Waygate quest in the Gloomrot Expansion.
- Polora’s name and concept, as well as Spectral Wolf, are likely references to Poloma from Battlerite.
Attacks
When fighting Polora, positioning is key. All her attacks, as well as her spirit’s attacks, can collide with all targets. If they hit the player, they deal damage. Otherwise, they heal Polora or the spirit hit.
- Spirit Wave: Polora channels, lifting her left arm up, then releases three spread-out spirit projectiles that move in a wave-like pattern.
- Spirit Wolf: Polora channels briefly before launching a spirit wolf in a straight line. The wolf deals damage or heals depending on the target hit. It can bounce to new targets up to five times, for a total of six hits, and can bounce back to Polora.
- Fear: If the player is close to Polora, she’ll shout “Begone!” and start a long channel. At the end, she will Fear all targets in a small radius around her, forcing them to run away.
- Invisibility: If the player is close, Polora turns invisible for a few seconds, gaining increased movement speed. If afflicted by Ignite, her movement can be tracked.
- Summon Minion: After losing 25% of her health, Polora periodically shouts “Spirits, hear me!” and summons Pixies that fire ranged wave-like spirit attacks with a slow aiming turn rate. If killed, Polora may resummon a new one within a short time.
