With a game so heavily focused on emulating Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, ships and all, buried treasures were pretty much inevitable weren’t they? As with Black Flag, in Rogue’s game world players can find a series of treasure maps in the form of a rolled up chart. The map gives players a set of co-ordinates which highlight the location’s icon on the world map as well as a diagram giving hints as to the treasure’s location.
At this point, players need to travel to the location in question and use the drawing on the treasure map to find the dig site. This is usually marked with a red ‘X’ on each map. Approaching the required location, a blue glow on the ground will indicate the actual location. Move over and interact with this to dig up the treasure.
The treasures held within each are Templar relics. Finding and collecting all 24 of these by completing all of the map and treasure hunt tasks will unlock a new area in The Sapphire wreck, North Atlantic. This becomes accessible once all the relics have been gathered. Upon opening the door we will earn some rewards.
- For opening the door we’ll unlock the achievement/trophy ‘Knight of Yore’.
- Opening the door will also grant us the Templar Armour.
Below you’ll find a list of locations where you will find each treasure map in order as listed in the game’s progress tracker. Additionally, you’ll find pictures and descriptions as how to track down the treasure and the reward on offer.
