Description

The Risen Road, situated north of the Blighted Village, is a hazardous sub-area. It can be accessed by jumping over a broken bridge or descending a ladder from the Secluded Chamber.

Sub-Areas

Cave:
Located at ( X: 40 Y: 628 ), the cave in The Risen Road is occupied by two travelers fending off Gnoll attacks. They guard a locked Caravan Strongbox containing an Iron Flask. Successful dialogue with Rugan provides the Zhentarim Basement password in Waukeen’s Rest.

If Rugan survives and departs, the Caravan Strongbox disappears, and Rugan and Olly relocate to the Zhentarim Basement.

Toll House:
Once a toll collection point, the Toll House has been abandoned due to perilous conditions. Anders and his allies search for Karlach here. The basement, accessed via a trap door, contains a locked door with a dead toll collector. Use Toll Collector’s Key or destroy the door. Rooms with poison traps lead to a treasury with Greataxe +1, Gloves of Succour, and other items.
