This is a less specialized build than most of the others with you adding points into what stats you want for the next weapon, armor, spell, etc. Adding points into all the areas in an equal manner will allow you to do everything in the game, from magic to ranged weapons, but will limit your maximum capabilities. In other words, you’ll be a Jack of All Trade that can’t really do anything great.
Weapons: Since you aren’t focusing on a specific stat to use a weapon’s scaling modifier, as this usually means you’ll invest in only one stat type, you’ll want to stick to weapons that give raw damage value increases when upgraded. In addition, you may want to infuse your weapons with Raw, Fire, or Deep gems since these offer the best boost without weapon scaling involved.
Feel free to mix up physical damage weapons and elemental damage, since your spells won’t be extremely powerful without investing heavily into INT, and don’t forget to find a bow or crossbow that suits you best.
Test out the weapons that interest you and stick with the one(s) you like the most.
Armor: This build allows you to use average weight gear, rather than strictly heavy or light. Make sure your using a steady shield with 100% physical absorption and a mix of armor that keeps you below 70% Equip Load to prevent your rolls from slowing.
Use a plethora of rings to suit whatever combat style you’re currently using, such as magic rings or simply general purpose rings.
