They developed the multi-million selling original Fieldrunners game, which was awarded in Time Magazine’s ‘Top 10 of 2008’. It was also awarded with the ‘Best Game and Achievement in Art’ at the prestigious IGF Mobile awards in 2009.
In 2010, Subatomic went on to create TinkerBox, a free-to-play physics based puzzle game that was released for the iPad and iPhone in 2010. The game is an educational tool that teaches basic engineering concepts to players and has been used in classrooms around the world.
Finally, that brings us to their latest release, Fieldrunners 2. Launched on June 2012 for the iPhone and iPod Touch, the sequel to the award-winning Tower Defence game has also found its Fieldrunning ways onto the iPad, PC (via STEAM) and now also Android devices. Bringing Subatomic Studios one step closer to that ultimate goal of world domination.
