Jormuntide Ignis is one of the most powerful Pals you can get in Palworld. This Pal can only be found in higher-level areas, and one of the places it spawns the most is easy to miss. On top of this, you can’t breed for this Pal, making it even harder to acquire. The guide below goes over how to find Jormuntide Ignis and what you need to do to breed them.
Jormuntide Ignis Location in Palworld¶
Jormuntide Ignis is an extremely powerful Dragon and Fire type Pal. Unlike many of the other popular Pals, it doesn’t have an Alpha form roaming the map and can be caught regularly. Its habitat is at the No. 2 Pal Sanctuary near one of Lily Everheart’s Diaries. You can check out the exact location on our map here. Be careful as this is a restricted area and encountering the PIDF will get you the wanted status. This is a strangely shaped island in the middle west end of the map. Fire and Water type Pals can be effective to catch it, but be aware that Pals in the area where it spawns are usually in the late 30s and low 40s, making catching one more of a mid to end-game challenge.
Jormuntide Ignis Attacks¶
If you are looking for an easier way to get a Jormuntide Ignis and have a flying mount, then pick up any Huge Scorching Eggs from around the volcano. These take a bit of time to hatch, but there seems to be a good chance of getting a Jormuntide Ignis. Keep in mind that a hatched Pal starts at level one. Jormuntide Ignis drops High Quality Pal Oil and Flame Organs when caught or defeated. It has Kindling four, making it great to place at a base or take into battle. It has the Stormbringer Lava Dragon, which allows it to be ridden after you unlock the Jormuntide Ignis Saddle at level 43. Finally, it can usually come with the moves Tri-Lighting and Fire Ball when caught, depending on the level.
How to Breed Jormuntide Ignis¶
You can breed Jormuntide Ignis as long as you have already caught or hatched the Pal. To do so, pair it with another Fire type Pal to get an egg. This is a bit strange since you can hatch the Pal from wild Huge Scorching Eggs, but this could be because they typically spawn in hard-to-reach areas around the volcano. This Pal will be born knowing the Ignis Blast move and gains its first Dragon type move, Dragon Blast, at level seven.
