What is Dungeon Creator?¶
The Dungeon Creator is a new addition to The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening on Nintendo Switch.
Upon completing the Bottle Grotto Dungeon you’ll have access to Dampe’s Shack which is located in Tal Tal Heights. Once you step inside the shack you’ll be able to create your own dungeons out of the pieces you’ve gathered through completeing the story dungeons.
You’ll also be able to unlock more dungeon pieces through Amiibo or by completing Dampe’s Challenges.
Tips & Tricks¶
If you find yourself having a bit of trouble getting to grips with the Dungeon Creator, here is a few Tips and Tricks to set you on the right path.
- You’ll need as many doors including the Nightmare Door as Tresure Chests to be able to create your dungeon.
- If the game isn’t letting you create your dungeon and you’re unsure why, press the Y button and you’ll be shown what you need to change.
- Dont bother stocking up on Arrows or Bombs, as Dampe will give you a bunch before going into the dungeon.
- You’ll acquire all the Small Keys needed first from the Chests before being rewarded with Rupees.
- Complete all story dungeons first, so you’ll have more pieces to play with.
Dampe’s Challenges¶
Speak with Dampe and click adventure to find the Challenges.
When you speak with Dampe in his Shack, click Adventure and you’ll come to the screen with the list of Challenges. Through completing the challenges in the order given, Dampe will give you tiles that will help you complete the next challenge.
