Fluffy Waltz Dodobear has been trapped in the cave!

Starting the Secret Ledger Quest¶

Once you’ve finished the interrogation in the previous main quest The Truth is Close, you’ll find yourself outside the Florawish Guards’ Office. You’re gonna need a whimcycle to reach the next area, so head over to the Cicia Art Academy Field Base which is located on the western side of the map and rent the bike from Hugh can be found next to the stand.

Go to the depths of the Cavern¶

Get yourself familiar with the whimcycles controls (Forward: R2, Brake/Reverse: L2) and then travel south until you reach a cave entrance in the Relic Hill area. Proceed into the cave and you’ll come across your first boss fight against a fiend that goes by the name of Bouldy

How to Defeat Bouldy¶

This boss isn’t overly difficult to take down and you can be hit a fair few times before you’ll die and have to retry, so you don’t need to worry about getting stuck here. You can damage this boss by avoiding its attack and then its core will be temporarily exposed and you’ll want to strike it with the purification attack.

It has two attacks that’ll it’ll rotate between as the battle goes on, a shockwave which will be indicated by a large AoE (Area of Effect) marker before it goes off and this can be easily avoided by dashing away from it or it’ll roll large large rocks at you from a distance. As long as you keep your distance and move around the arena then these rocks will most likely never hit you, but beware, the lower you get Bouldy’s health it’ll start rolling multiple rocks at you at times.

Secret Ledger Quest Rewards¶

Once you’ve defeated this fiend, interact with the floating crystal to obtain the Raging Bouldy outfit and then head into the small opening at the back of the cave and interact with the wooden box to free Fluffy Waltz Dodobear. Pick up the ledger from the back wall and then head over to Nonoy’s Secret Base which is located slightly to the north of Florawish and this will trigger a cutscene and bring the quest to a close. You’ll be rewarded with Mira EXP x1000, Shiny Bubbles x100, Thread of Purity x120, Diamond x50 and Bling x20,000 for your troubles.
