20,000+ | Banana (x3), Grand Magic Extender Ability |
The Banana Flan can be found in Monstropolis and requires a tiny bit of travelling to get to it. Start at The Factory: Basement save point and go through the white door nearby to get to The Door Vault area. Follow the trail here until you come to the wall of doors, with there only being two possibilities of entering. The door you want is the one in the corner, which is kind of brownish in color. Take this door to bring you into the section with the Banana Flan.
For this mini-game, you will need to defeat the smaller ones while avoiding the attack from the large one. The large flan will simply run around and whenever you see it wiggle a little bit, it will jump/flutter about, then try to land on top of you with its mouth open. If it does this successfully, then the mini-game will immediately end, no matter how much time is left on the clock. You have a total of 90 seconds in order to get the high score for this mini-game, with there being no way to extend the timer. Luckily, the smaller flans are one-hit kills, so you won’t need to worry about chipping away at their health.
There are two main ways to go about this mini-game. The first involves the Ever After Keyblade, specifically its finisher when changing forms. Not only does this cover a wide area, but you are also invincible during it. The second method for achieving the high score involves the Thunder magic spell. This can hit multiple enemies, plus you can stay mobile while using magic, so you shouldn’t have to fear about getting attacked by the large flan. Additionally, with the Thunder Cufflink equipped to Sora, then you will unlock the Thundaza command prompt once you use Thunder a lot. This can also work with the Aero/Aeroza spells (with the appropriate cufflink accessory, of course).
