Little Witch in the Woods

How to Get Dried Pumpkin Terrier Fur

By
Seren Morgan-Roberts

This page offers a guide on how to get Pumpkin Terrier Fur and then how to craft dried pumpkin terrier fur in Little Witch in the Woods.

What are Pumpkin Terriers?

Before you’re able to get Pumpkin Terrier fur, you’ll need to first locate and identify the Pumpkin Terrier! They look like tumble weeds with red glowing eyes. They can be found usually in sets of two around the Green Forest Plains - there are two usually wandering around the path up to the Witch’s Garden. There’s also two near the sign post to the east of the well. They’re found both day and night.

Pumpkin Terriers are found day and night in Green Forest Plains.

How to Get Pumpkin Terrier Fur

To harvest Pumpkin Terrier Fur, you’ll need to use your hands to grab the Pumpkin Terriers. When you interact with them though, they’ll run away and the interact wheel will begin to reset. You’ll need to run after them and begin interacting with them again. You’ll want to do this before the interact wheel resets completely. Each time the Terrier runs away, try to chase it and you’ll slowly find that you’re increasing the interact bar - after about three to four chases, you’ll be able to fill up the wheel and harves the Pumpkin Terrier Fur! The Terrier will drop the yellow fur on the ground nearby so don’t forget to pick it up!

How to Get Dried Pumpkin Terrier Fur

The Pumpkin Terrier Fur is not useful unless it has been dried using the Roaster in the basement. If you haven’t already got it, you’ll need to purchase the Roaster Handle from Aurea - it’ll only be available to purchase once you’ve accessed the village behind the spikey vines.

You’ll also need 150 Gold Coins to purchase the Roaster Handle, which is quite a bit of money! You’ll likely want to complete one potion delivery side quest for Aurea to earn the 150 Gold Coins.

You’ll need to purchase the Roaster Handle so you can dry the Pumpkin Terrier Fur.

Once you have the roaster, return to the Witch’s House and activate the Roaster. You can place four Pumpkin Terrier fur into the roaster (that means you’ll need to chase four Pumpkin Terriers around!) and manufacture the ingredient. Unlike the Extractor, the Roaster takes a short while to process the ingredients, but you can see a timer countdown whilst you wait.

The Pumpkin Terrier Fur takes around 10 seconds to roast before you can pick up the Dried Pumpkin Terrier Fur.

Once your roaster is up and running you can manufacture some Dried Pumpkin Terrier Fur!

What Can You Craft with Dried Pumpkin Terrier Fur?

Dried Pumpkin Terrier Fur is an ingredient required for crafting the Enhance Intellect Potion, which you will need in the main story quest.

Enhance Intellect Potion Recipe.
