On the side-mission Rannoch: Admiral Koris, which is available after the Mission Priority: Geth Dreadnought, you’ll be asked to save Admiral Koris by Admiral Raan.
Choice: Save the civilian crew or rescue Admiral Koris¶
Near the end of the mission, Admiral Koris will tell you that he’s being overrun by the Geth, and that he won’t make it. At the same time, the civilian crew he’s in charge off will be split up, and they’re also facing a similar threat. You’re choice here determines what happens to either the crew or Admiral Koris.
Choice: Save the civilian crew¶
At Admiral Koris’ behest, you’ll be told to leave him, and save the civilian crew, if you choose the options to the right of the dialogue wheel, dressed in white text, you’ll do what the Admiral asks, and save his crew. This will result in the death of the Admiral. Because of the Quarian Civilian Fleets admiration of him, you’ll lose 75 Military Strength from them. This option will also make it harder at the end of the Mission Priority: Rannoch, which makes it less likely for the Migrant Fleet to stand down, ending the war.
Choice: Rescue Admiral Koris¶
At Admiral Koris’ behest, you’ll be told to leave him, and save the civilian crew, ignoring his wishes, you can choose, a Paragon/Renegade option providing you meet the reputation check. This will send the civilian crew to their deaths, but you’ll keep the Military Strength from the Quarian Civilian Fleet, and Admiral Koris will survive, making him a War Asset, giving you a further 25 Military Strength. Also, this’ll make it more likely for the Migrant Fleet to stand down during the Mission Priority: Rannoch, and ending the war.
