This is a guide for the second area in Bills Town in The Last of Us: Part 1. It’ll navigate you through the necessary steps to getting through the Safehouse and finding the Shiv Sharpening Training Manual.

Where To Find The Shiv Sharpening Training Manual¶

Once you’ve safely made into a building with Ellie and Bill a short scene will playout, then immediately look over to your right and pickup Bills Map. From here, loot the bar for Alcohol x1, Binding x1, and the Shiv: Sharpening Training Manual, then look in the back room to find Revolver Ammo x3, Parts x5, Blades x1, and the Fences Note.

Now head upstairs and search the room on the right for some Blades x1, Supplements x5 and the Hunter’s Note. After you’ve grabbed everything, follow Bill and enter the next room, then collect Parts x4 from the bookshelf.

Where To Find The Firefly Pendant - Alex Raymon Vincent - 256¶

Make sure you have a Shiv equipped and head out onto the street and you’ll be greeted by some Runners and Clickers. Use your melee weapon to deal with the Runners, then switch over to your weapon of choice and aim for the Clickers head to take them out. If they manage to grab you press Triangle to use the Shiv which will allow you to escape.

Once you’ve cleared out the area look up to see the Firefly Pendant - Alex Raymon Vincent - 256 hanging from the light, so shoot it to cause it to fall, then collect it before following Bill into the next area. Look inside the shed to the left of the stairs for a Rag x1, then go upstairs and grab **Parts x10 ** on the left before entering the cellar to bring this portion of Bills Town to a close.
