Evilities have been a mechanic in the Disgaea series since they debuted in Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice. They are passive abilities that can be equipped to your characters, with a wide ranged of effects. This page will list all of the Evilities that unlock for the Prinny class, as well as point out any standout Evilities that can be good for builds.
In order to get the Common Evilities from the Classes for other characters, you will need to increase the Class Proficiency for that characters through the subclass system. For example, if you wish to get the Warrior Evilities for Zed, then you need to set the Warrior as his subclass and rank it up, then purchase them from the Skill Shop. Every class has five Common Evilities, with each rank adding an additional Evility to the shop, so you need at least Rank 5 to get all of the Common Evilities from a single class.
As far as Unique Evilities go, each of the classes will have one that will be stuck on that character and cannot be changed out at all. In order to get the classes’ Unique Evilities on other characters, you will first need to master that class through the subclass system. After doing that, you will then need to unlock an Unique Evility slot for that character. For more information on that, visit the How to Unlock More Evility Slots page.
Prinny’s Unique Evility¶
The Prinny’s Unique Evility is called Explosive Body, and it should be familiar to any fan of the Disgaea series. Whenever you throw a unit with this Evility, they will explode. The damage is dealt to a range of 2 from the initial explosion, inflicting damage equal to 50% of the unit’s Max HP. It’s essentially like using your ally as an attack item, except they will use one of your slots for that battle. Overall, there are better Unique Evilities to use and you really shouldn’t bother with this one at all.
List of Common Evilities (Prinny)¶
Icon | Common Evility | Description | Mana Cost | Slots |
---|---|---|---|---|
Cross Bomber | When this unit explodes, it explodes in a straight line of 5 panels | 100 | 2 | |
Defensive Line | Increase all weapon resistances by 3% per adjacent ally unit (Max 20%) | 250 | 2 | |
Through Adversity | Increase stats by 30% when inflicted with an ailment | 1,000 | 3 | |
Focused Bomb | When this unit explodes, increase damage dealt by 100% | 2,500 | 3 | |
Recycle Spirit | If this unit dies from exploding, the number of dispatched units recovers | 5,000 | 5 |
The Prinny’s Common Evilities are not going to be all that good, especially since a few of them revolve around exploding. One of the useful ones is Recycle Spirit, which makes it so your dispatched unit number isn’t used up upon an ally unit dying from exploding. This is extremely useful with a specific setup, allowing you to receive a huge amount of experience. Defensive Line could have a few benefits on a defensively built class, since more weapon resistances equals lesser damage taken.
