The further you go into Fire Emblem Engage, the more complex the maps get. In Chapter 7, you will face another Emblem for the first time and need to deal with several flying units. As dicey as this sounds, getting through Chapter 7 is actually pretty easy if you come equipped with the right units for the job. The guide below goes over how to easily defeat Hortensia and make your way out of Chapter 7, Dark Emblem, without losing any units in the battle.
How to Reach Dark Emblem¶
To Reach Chapter 7, you simply need to beat chapter 6. This is the first chapter where you face an enemy Emblem, but with the right preparation, it isn’t all that hard.
Chapter 7 - Dark Emblem¶
In this chapter, you will face Hortensia, who is using an Emblem. She is able to attack you with multiple attacks at once, making it easy to knock out certain units. Before you even get to her though, you will need to worry about traversing the bridge. For this map, you will want to have Etie and Alcryst handling the fliers. Choose a side of the map and work your way up it using these two characters.
Etie and Alcryst are also extremely effective against Hortensia, and if used back to back, they can take down both of her health bars in one turn. They can also be used to take down Rosado. Etie is best to deal with Rosado, as they have a skill that makes avoiding male units easier.
When you get close to Hortensia, use an armored unit like Louis to take the damage from the
rest of your team. Be sure to quickly take the units around her out to make her Emblem attack less effective.
All Treasure in Dark Emblem¶
There are three items in this area to obtain. You should get them all from naturally progressing through the battle.
