This page details the basics of daily and weekly challenges available in Halo Infinite multiplayer. We’ll cover how to find and complete them, the different kinds of challenges on offer, ultimate rewards, and when the challenges reset.
How to Find and Complete Daily & Weekly Challenges¶
It’s not immediately obvious when you login to Halo Infinite multiplayer where you can find and view the daily and weekly challenges, since there’s no option dedicated to the challenges on the multiplayer home screen. However, all you need to do is click on the Season 1 Battle Pass tab in the top right of the screen. You’ll see this on both the home page when you first login, and on the multiplayer menu, as shown below. Keep in mind that the exact details of this tab will change in accordance with new seasons and passes, but it will most likely be roughly in the same position.
What Are Daily & Weekly Challenges¶
The daily and weekly challenges in Halo Infinite are essentially the best way to earn XP towards a season’s Battle Pass level and rewards. If you want to customize your Spartan as much as possible you’ll need Battle Pass levels, since nearly all of the cosmetic items on offer are linked to specific levels. In terms of the kinds of challenges on offer to complete, you’ll find that the daily challenges are often much easier to complete than the weekly challenges, as you might expect. The former can include things like “Play any Match”, which typically earns you 50 XP. As the description indicates, this will be completed once you’ve played any match from Quick Play, Ranked Arena, or Big Team Battle.
The weekly challenges generally ask you to perform more specific tasks (and offer more XP, between 200 - 300 per challenge), from the simple “Complete 3 Quick Play Matches” to the more potentially demanding tasks which require you to defeat opponents with specific guns or in specific ways. These can be as simple as killing 5 opponents with the Sidekick Pistol to the more challenging task of capturing 3 enemy flags in a Capture the Flag match. The challenges which require you to complete specific game mode tasks can be the most demanding, since you’ll need to count on other players being competent enough to help you complete the challenge. You’ll probably have a much easier time attempting to complete these alongside friends rather than with random groups.
What Are Ultimate Challenge Rewards¶
As you’re browsing the daily and weekly challenges when you click on the challenges tab to view more information, such as how much XP you can earn from a specific challenge, you’ll notice a reward on the right side of your screen referred to as an “Ultimate”. This will generally come in the form of a cosmetic item, such as the Visor shown in the screenshot below. You’ll unlock these ultimate rewards once you’ve completed all the weekly challenges for a specific week, and the rewards themselves will reset weekly, allowing you to unlock new cosmetic rewards every week.
If you don’t like the sound of a particular challenge on offer for a specific week and you have access to the Battle Pass, you can reset that challenge using a Challenge Swap consumable. However, we’d only recommend using these if you’ve consistently tried and failed to complete the available weekly challenges, and only if you absolutely must have the reward on offer. You never know what might show up the next week, and you may surprise yourself in terms of what challenges you’re capable of completing with a bit of persistence.
