Herbs in Manor Lords are one of the materials players can use to boost the health of their citizens. In the early game, you get a tutorial on acquiring Herbs, yet, there’s no obvious place to get them. Yet, we’ve found a way to get them in Manor Lords reliably to help you with this challenge. It’s time to start building Forager Huts and getting the Herb Garden upgrade.
Finding Herbs¶
To get Herbs in Manor Lords, you need to do the following:
- Build a Forager’s Hut from the Gathering construction menu
- Upgrade the Forager’s Hut to gather Herbs - costs 25 Regional Wealth and two Planks
- Staff working on the Forager’s hut will periodically grow Herbs after acquiring wild berries
Unlike most natural resources, players cannot find Herbs naturally on the map. Instead, Herbs are found while foragers gather berries if your gatherers have the herb upgrade. You can start the project off by building a Forager’s Hut from the ‘Gathering’ crafting menu and then upgrading it by pressing the button upgrade button in the Hut. It operates like an Extension on a Burgage Plot. You will need two Regional Wealth, and two Planks. Make sure you have the spare money, and have got a Saw Mill producing planks. You only need one log for five Planks. You can check our guide on getting Regional Wealth if you’re low on funds.
Upgrading the Forager’s Hut will enable the passive income of herbs over time and you can see them in the storage of Forester Hut before they are shipped off to relevant storage centers in your settlement.
Your population will then naturally use the herbs as and when they get sick. It is a great idea to start getting this upgrade early on so you can store Herbs in case of emergency. Once you start collecting Herbs they’ll be stored in the Granary and later distributed to burgage plots as and when required.
This concludes the basics of getting Herbs in Manor Lords and getting your settlements prepared for illnesses and disasters to come.
