There are many different kinds of wild animals in both Afghanistan and Africa, all of which can be captured by you! There are three main ways to capture the animals in the game, with the best one being to shoot them with a tranquilizer (or stun bullets), then extract them via Fulton. Some animals are small enough that you can just pick them up after putting them to sleep/stunning them. There are three animals in the game that are tied to Side Ops, so they are the only way to capture those.
The last way to capture animals is via one of the items you can develop, the Capture Cage. This little contraption can be set in the wild and whenever you leave via helicopter, you will capture an animal. Depending on the rank of the cage, it’s possible to catch some very rare animals. There are many animals in the game that cannot be captured without using these cages.
Key:
- C = Common
- UC = Uncommon
- R = Rare
- UR = Ultra Rare (usually tied to the Side Ops-related animals)
- SR = Super Rare
A few animals will require you to Fulton them (left), but the majority will need you to use the Capture Cage item (right).
