So… you’ve just beaten the game. Let that sink in for a while. But like we said, your adventure is far from over. Upon loading your completed save file, you will find yourself back in your house. Something veteran players will be accustomed to.
As soon as you stroll downstairs, however, the first thing that will happen is a meeting with a familiar police inspector called Looker. He will inform you that Team Plasma’s higher ups–the Seven Sages–have hidden themselves around Unova and he forcefully enlists your aid in tracking them down.
Also, for absolutely no reason whatsoever, he will hand you a Super Rod . With this high tech piece of fishing equipment, you can finally fish for Water-type Pokemon all across Unova. Now those “Pokemon during postgame” tables in the guide will be of some use.
Speaking of which, you can now encounter Pokemon swarms in the various routes. If you want to know when there’s a swarm, simply visit one of the gatehouses before each route and check the electronic bulletin board. Only numbered routes feature swarms, so keep that in mind.
As you finally exit your house, you will also bump into good ol’ Professor Cedric again. The kind Prof will upgrade your Pokedex into its final iteration–the impressive-sounding National Pokedex . Now all 600+ Pokemon in the world can be recorded and caught!
…And then, you’re free to do whatever you wish. Which will probably include hunting down those elusive Sages. Oh and didn’t Bianca mention something about Black City/White Forest? Either way, stay tuned to our Postgame walkthrough to get the most out of your game!
