You are Talion, the Gravewalker. Once a Gondorian Ranger and Captain of The Black Gate, you’re now bound to the spirit of an Elven Wraith, doomed to stalk Mordor until you can get revenge on The Black Captains who cursed you. Fortunately, Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor takes many gameplay elements from other games, improves them, and throws the detailed Nemesis System on top. The end result is a great playground where you can kill Uruks by the dozen, using stealth, terrain features, ranged attacks, or good old melee combat. The focus of the game might be killing Uruks, but it does that one thing very, very well.
This guide will help you get through Mordor’s main missions and side missions. It’ll also lead you to every collectible, tell you how to get every Trophy/Achievement in the main game, and detail the various mechanics of the game, from Talion’s Abilities to the Strengths and Weaknesses of the randomly generated Uruks that make up Sauron’s Army.
