From the northern edge of Thang Talath head west through the northern part of the Fern Outskirts. Shortly west of here, in the Fort Morn area, you’ll find the Fort Morn Forge Tower. Reforge it and peer at your map to spot all the goodies in this area, which include the Dagger Mission “The Scourge of the Shadow” , the Sword Mission “Power of the One” , which we can’t begin yet, as well as three Artifacts and two Ithildin. Almost all of these points of interest lie in Fort Morn itself, which lies south across a river. The only exception to this is the Whetstone Artifact. Just south of the Forge Tower is a bridge that spans the river, and… well, you know where this is going. Drop down next to the bridge and search the arched foundations until you find the Artifact, which, like many Artifacts, chose cozy spots under a bridge to dwell.
Doesn’t it feel like something is missing, though? Cross the bridge to the south until you find a wooden ramp to the west that connects to the bridge. South of this ramp is a wooden watch tower along the bridge, marking the entrance to Fort Morn. under this watch tower, on a moss-covered stone foundation of the bridge, is the “enArdhon” Ithildin. Now that this bridge has continued the Nurn trend of having a resident Artifact and Ithildin, head on into Fort Morn. It’s a Stronghold, so keep that in mind-it’ll be easier acquiring goodies here if we don’t alert every Uruk in the area.
Find a looming stone tower south-east of the bridge we crossed to reach Fort Morn and scale it. On a wooden platform along the southern side of the bridge you’ll find the start to the Dagger Mission “The Scourging of the Shadow” . This is a rather complicated mission that, ironically, makes more use of your bow than your dagger. Complete it-or not-and climb the southern side of the stone tower to reach what counts as the top, where the Broken Staff Artifact resides. If you continue south you’ll find the “Power of the One” Sword Mission, which, as state earlier, cannot be completed now.
Sneak your way over to the south-western part of Fort Morn where the last two collectables lurks. The “Mi chand eMorchir” Ithildin can be found on an interior wall atop a large stone tower. Drop off the tower to the north-west to find the Cook’s Knife Artifact, which is on the ground near a ladder.
Ethir Poros¶
Herbs | Artifacts |
---|---|
Alfirin | Apothecary Jar |
Earthbread | |
Gwinuial | |
Orchamarth | |
Mallos |
Continue east from the Cook’s Knife Artifact along the ground, through a corridor between buildings to the north and south to reach Ethir Poros, which is an extension of Fort Morn, and like Fort Morn, is a Stronghold. Eventually the buildings to the south will end, at least on ground level, and will instead give way to cliffs. To the north a wooden ramp will connect buildings to the east with buildings to the west. Head over to the western buildings and find an alcove on the southern-facing side of the buildings, past a ladder, in which you’ll find the Apothecary Jar Artifact. And… that’s really all there is to this area. Most of the goodies were in Fort Morn.
