Rare animals in the game are Jaguars, Empress Jaguars, and Black Wolves. You can find the jaguars in the Peruvian Jungle as well as the jungle area of San Juan. The black wolves reside in wolf dens, which can be found in the Abandoned Village of Paititi as well as the north-west corner of San Juan.

Fast travelling back and forth from the areas should respawn them.
