How To Use The Claw Machines In Tchia¶
We all love a claw machine, and feel each other’s pain when it looks like you have won a prize, only for it to be suspiciously let go by the claw at the last second. But are things any different in Tchia? Or are the owners still effectively scamming you nine times of ten.
Let’s find out.
Built into the front of each claw machine in a box in which you must deposit your payment in order to stand a chance of winning a prize. To operate the machine you need to drop a Trophy from your backpack in and this will generate you three gos of the the claw. You can get Trophies from any Race/Shooting Range/Diving Challenges. The rarity of the Trophy itself doesn’t matter, as all of them will grant you the three attempts at the claw machine.
You must now control the claw (we have all done this, you guys know how it works we think) by moving it from its starting location, both forward and right until it is positioned over the object that you are trying to grab. The goal of completing the claw machine is to obtain all of the gold orbs inside the machine. The other orbs contain Trophies, so it is possible to potentially keep playing it, if you wanted, but the other orbs don’t need to be acquired at all.
The mechanics of the Claw Machine are as follows.
- Press (X) to make the claw move to the right then (X) again to stop it where you need it to be.
- Press (X) again to make the claw move forward and then (X) once more to stop it. The claw will then descend at that location and hopefully snare the orb containing the cosmetic you are after. The cosmetics you get from this count toward 100% completion, plus you get the Umbrella Hat from one of them, which is needed for the Fashion Faux-Pas trophy/achievement.
