One of the core parts of the main story of Tchia is watching the music scenes that unfold as you meet new characters and learn about the islands. These segments are rather difficult, though, and there is a trophy/achievement called Shredder that requires you to get 100% on a music segment, which for the most part, is almost impossible to do your first time playing the game. The guide below goes over the easiest way to get the Shredder trophy/achievement in Tchia.
The Easiest Way to Get The Shredder Trophy/Achievement in Tchia¶
The rhythm games in Tchia are far from easy, especially since the game currently only allows for controller support. If you don’t regularly play rhythm games, even the first few songs in Tchia can feel a bit overwhelming. The best way to get this achievement and 100% a music segment is by going back to the start of the game when she plays the ukulele for the first time in chapter 1. Just carefully tap the buttons on screen during this easier music segment. This should only take you a few minutes to complete.
There is no achievement related to rhythm games outside of Shredder, so you don’t need to worry about 100% of every song in the game. Remember that the music segments are tied to the story and can’t be replayed on the same save file. If you miss them all without hitting 100% you will need to restart the game or use the chapter select option on the menu to try again. It’s easiest to make a manual save right after you get the two Clam Pearls for Tre, but before meeting him at the campfire, as that is when you will be playing the Ukulele music sequence.
