Great Fairy of Courage

Hopefully you don’t have to fight for time when returning the Stray Fairies.

If you collected all of the Stray Fairies in the Great Bay Temple then Hookshot around the back of Zora Cape using the trees on the islands. At the top of the area, bomb the rocks blocking the Great Fairy Fountain and enter.

You receive an upgrade to your defense, noted by the white outline, and you only receive half damage now.

The Fishermans Jumping Game

With the waters cleared you can play a new game now. Go to the midpoint of Great Bay Coast, north of the Marine Research Lab, to find an unmanned boat. Hop in to be taken to the islands in the distance.

Speak with the Fisherman then leap to the center island to begin the game, which costs 20 Rupees. The objective is to get 20 points in 2 minutes, one point is scored each time you reach the island with the lit torch before it goes out.

Take your time and use L to switch your view and line yourself up. It’s easy to score upwards of 30 in this game, so don’t rush too much. Completing this game earns Piece of Heart #40 .

Don Geros Choir

The Piece of Heart obtained from this sequence takes a bit to obtain but it’s well worth it. You should have defeated Gekko in Great Bay Temple, it’s how you get the Ice Arrows.

If you spoke with him and had Don Gero’s Mask on you’re 1/5th of the way complete. Find the other four frogs and defeat Goht to make it spring in the Mountain Village:

Needless to say, it’s a bit of a chore gathering all of the frogs.

Once you’ve gathered all five, wear Don Gero’s Mask in front of them in the Mountain Village to play a song and earn Piece of Heart #41 .

Piece of Heart #42

Head to the Road to Goron Village since it’s spring. Put on the Zora Mask and head underwater to spot a large chest with Piece of Heart #42 inside.
