Tower of Fantasy Level Cap Guide

By
Craig Robinson

Tower of Fantasy is an MMORPG with gacha mechanics, which takes you around a world filled with a main story, side quests, daily activities, group content and more. As players venture into the game, they will uncover daily gating that restricts how far they can progress. If you’re playing during the first three months of the game, you will notice a soft level cap that increases every day. Here is everything you need to know on the Tower of Fantasy level cap and gated content.

We give you a rundown on the Tower of Fantasy Level Cap.

Tower of Fantasy Level Cap Explained

The Tower of Fantasy level cap is set to a max level of 70 in the global version, with the Chinese servers going as far as level 80 in the 2.0 version of the game. Therefore, the level cap will increase as the global version catches up.

As for those playing the game at launch, players will find the level cap increases over time. The first day has players capped at level 18; the level cap typically increases by three every few days. However, the live version does not yet know the actual values of the level cap per day until we get them. One Reddit player who participated in the beta has shared the projected level cap per day. However, it appears it is not entirely accurate per the global version of the game, as it is slightly off the mark. Although, it does serve as a good indicator of what the level cap could look like each day.

How to Level Up Fast in Tower of Fantasy Each Day

It is also worth mentioning that the game limits the main story you can do daily. The fastest way to level up, especially in the early parts of the game, is via the main story missions. Every day, you get quests that typically level you up to a level or two behind the cap. You can then do your bonus content, such as daily bounties, side missions, exploration XP and more, taking you to the daily cap fairly easily.

It is worth mentioning that players will not get bonus experience once they reach the level cap. You will, however, gain experience for the current max level. But, if you reach the maximum amount of experience required to level up, then it becomes wasted experience. Therefore, if you want a headstart the following day, you can get to the point where you’re about to level up and stop playing for the day. Otherwise, the experience you get goes to waste, especially for those who are getting bonus experience from kills, looting supply chests, and other exploration content.
