Like most Gacha games, the rarer the character is to get, the chances are it is a better character. To make it easier to understand what character are good and what character are not, here is a look at a Tower of Fantasy Tier list, where we rank the characters and highlight why they are good, bad or in the middle.

Best Tower of Fantasy Benediction Characters Explained¶
Cocorittter - Cocoritter is the big draw that all dedicated support healers want on their roster. Those who want solely focus on healing will find much reward with her strong healing output, along with her support capabilities of freezing enemies. She also gives a damage buff to her allies, and auto heals the lowest HP friendly with her healing bee friend. There are also late-game healing boosts when she’s far advanced, and she can also cleanse debuffs too. She is all around the perfect support, and it’s very easy to rank Coco this high on the Tower of Fantasy Tier List.
Nemesis - Nemesis is well regarded in China as one of the best characters in the game. However, that character did get nerfed for the global launch to make her more competitive than dominant. However, she still excels at a niche. Her niche being she is a great burst healer with solid group healing. She also does decent group AOE damage for a support, something Cocoritter doesn’t have, along with a partywide damage buff. She is still very good, and one that supports who like to deal damage at the same time will prefer.
Zero is another strange support character with a stronger focus on reducing enemy healing taken via the fire elemental affinity. This is a situational character that mainly reduces enemy healing and grants damage immunity. It’s something that a Tank or DPS players will appreciate during more tactic-intensive boss fights, but outside of that, Zero fits a strange niche in the endgame. The other issue is that allies must run into his healing orbs, which is not ideal in uncoordinated groups. However, Zero is a solid addition to PvP to reduce any sustain an enemy player may have, offering it a solid position on a PvP Tier List if we were to do one.
Pepper - Pepper is one of the only starting support players will likely come across. It makes her a very appealing support character, especially for new players until they can grab someone like Cocoritter to play. It means that pepper actually ranks relatively high for an SR character, largely thanks to the value she provides her allies.
Best Attack Tower of Fantasy Characters Explained¶
Samir is the best DPS weapon for quickly destroying packs of enemies. She has the crit, chain explosions, and a higher-level advancement that pulls enemies together. She also keeps the electrocuted debuff on enemies at level 3 advancement, making her easy to get going. Moreso, her reliability makes her great in PVP, whereas other DPS weapons have strange niches that make them less practical.
Shiro - As the only SSR Grevious character, Shiro has a special place on the Tower Of Fantasy Tier List. She is the ultimate support DPS, with the capability of boosting her damage through the Grevious and Full Bloom ability and increased shield shattering. Furthermore, upgrades make her more efficient at all those things, which means Shiro’s weapon is genuinely one of the well-rounded and great weapons to add to your DPS playstyle with plenty of group utility to never ignore.
Crow - Crow is the assassin of the Tower of Fantasy character list, and requires you to back attack enemies to get the most efficiency from it, It is very good in coordinated group PvE content when you work with the tank, but its has issues elsewhere. Moreso, it requires the 5 stars Thunderblades to really shine, as that is when you can guarantee consistent back attack crits, which is how Crow gets his damage. This Simulacra will shine the longer the live servers are activ, but will look and feel relatively weak in comparison to other SSR DPS weapons.
Tsubasa - Tsuabasa is the best Simulacra if you want that dedicated ranger playstyle. She has excellent damage ramping with her arrows and even rewards players who can land charged headshots with great aim. This means this character has a higher skill level, but those who can aim well on targets will see themselves rewarded with some incredibly consistent and scaling damage. Higher advancements also help to furthe rimrpove her plastyle, making it a very competitive single target boss killer.
King - King is by far the strongest shield shatterer DPS available. King usurps the role from Echo when you get his Scythe of the Crow, and becomes a monster with it. Also, shattering a shield grants significant ATK damage buffs and makes this character shine during those moments. The Scythe also has damage scaling in packs of enemies and increased damage to shielded targets at level 5 advancement. King is a great pick that can really do well all around but still has a niche. This weapon is something that Tank players may want to consider when they need to smash shields or DPS players that want to help destroy shields, with it becoming a main weapon from level onwards, but that requires some significant investment and luck.
Bai Ling - Bai Ling is a decent weapon very early on, thanks to the solid damage and the Grewvious element type. She is a very reliable DPS character that can go far into the late game until you do start getting decent SSR weapons. If you get Bai Ling’s Nightingale Feather early as a new player, you’re in for a good time until the SSR drops come your way.
Hilde - Hilde is the SR version of Tsubasa, with scaling ranged damage, but sadly dramatically weaker. It’s a good sign though if you like this playstyle, as you’ll like Tsubasa when you get her weapon. Newer players will find some decent use with this character, though, so don’t worry too much about it if you pull her weapon early.
Echo - Echo is the shield destroying long weapon reach character. She is a decent pick for destroying shields, which adds decent utility for soloing any content that involves shielding bosses or fighting World Bosses. However, she is drastically inferior to KING users.
Best Fortitude Tower of Fantasy Characters Explained¶
Huma - Huma is a tank specializing in the fire element, meaning this character can burn enemies for decent attack damage and reduce healing efficiency. The other cool thing about Huma is the shield has two stances, Shield and Axe stance. The Shield stance is the ideal damage mitigation, and when you don’t need it anymore, you convert your defensive stacks into damage for when you need to switch your playstyle up. Higher advancement levels also make the Axe form more tanky too. All in All, Huma’s Molten Shield v2 is great weapon and is easily the best tank character in the game at the moment.
Meryl - A tank with a strong shield-shattering mechanics. She has the highest shield shatter in the game, rivalling the likes of King’s ability to destroy or ignore shields. Combine this with the Fortitude Resonance, and shield shattering is easy. However, Meryl’s Rosy Edge weapon is only useful in those situations. Overall a solid niche weapon for the tank players out there, but its not as generally effective as Molten Shield V2.
Ene - Ene is likely the first tank character you will get your hands on, thanks to her SR rating. She is a decent tank, too, offering some off-tanking even in higher-end play through her group taunt. Ene’s Pummeler also has built-in buffs to reduce damage and ignoring damage, making it a fairly easy-to-use weapon for those who need to switch into it. If there’s sany content with many enemies in small areas, this weapon still serves a purpose throughout the game’s life, but is nowhere near as specialized as other tank characters.
This concludes the Tower of Fantasy Tier List detailing the reasons why the Simulacra and weapons are the best. We have gone into detail to highlight the strengths of the weapons and what they are the best at given the niche. We have also explained how and why certain things are better than others. It should help inform why some characters are better than others, look for character weapons you want to use, and help your teammates to victory.
