Big Boss Cat
- Location - Mary’s Coin Laundry (Shopper’s Row)
- Req - Day
-
Reward - 1829 XP, Tough Bell
There’s a cat problem around the area and the woman needs some help in dealing with them. There are five of them, but they can only be found at night. They will all be marked on your map, but if you’re having trouble finding them, here are their locations. One’s in front of the Everymart, another’s north of the slide by Tranquility Apartments, and one more’s on Shade Road, to the right of the apartments. The last two are by Whatta Find and to the right of Mary Coin’s Laundry. Return to the laundromat and look for Baddinyan, defeating him in a battle. To finish, return to the woman during the day.
Bird Collection 2
- Location - Byrd’s House (Blossom Heights)
- Req - Complete Bird Collection 1
-
Reward - 1477 XP, Venoct Aura
Mr. Byrd wants some more bird Yokai, with Whisper suggesting both Duchoo and Rockabelly. Duchoo is a Rank D Yokai and can be found along the western river in Breezy Hills (likes seafood). Rockabelly can be found inside of the Office Building in Downtown, but you need to talk to a lady who is sitting outside, on the eastern side, first to open up the 13th floor. Take the elevator to that floor and you’ll find Rockabelly there (likes burgers). Once you’ve befriended both, return to Byrd to finish.
No Escape
- Location - Triangle Park (Uptown)
- Req - Night
-
Reward - 1625 XP, Monkey Circlet
Zoey has a tale about one of the seven School Mysteries. It seems some students are heading to the school to prove their courage, so head to the entrance and talk to them both. Some boys have gone in and not come out yet, so head to the second floor and you’ll find them in a classroom on the left side. It seems some Yokai is keeping the one inside, so you’ll find the Abodabat on the right side of the room. Defeat it, then report back to Zoey to finish.
Precious Illusion
- Location - Entrance to Old Mansion (Blossom Heights)
- Req - None
-
Reward - 1265 XP, Cicada Sword
The man is a collector of swords and is looking for one inside of the Old Mansion, but can’t make his way through the maze that is the mansion. Head inside and to the right side, going through the door that leads outside and into the garden area. You should see a Yokai in the one room right there, so go into that room and talk to Benkei to find out he already found the sword. Defeat him and he’ll give you the sword, so bring it back to the man outside. He’ll offer you a choice between two swords, both used to fuse Chansin into a stronger Yokai. The Legendary Blade can turn Chansin into Sheen, while the Cursed Blade can turn him into Snee. Both can be gotten from trading animals at Jungle Hunter, but the Cursed Blade can also be gotten as a reward from the Yokai Cam function.
Talk Like the Wind
- Location - 2F of Gourd Pond Museum (Breezy Hills)
- Req - Day
-
Reward - 1527 XP, Holy Water
The museum staff seems to be quite long-winded and wants your help in putting a stop to that. Talk to some of the patrons, all of whom are on the second floor (three in total). After you do that, you’ll need to search for a Yokai, who can be found in between the two displays in the right room on the second floor that’s to the right of the spinning star. Defeat Babblong and he’ll give you his Yokai medal. Return to the museum staff to finish the request.
Ultra Hide-and-Seek
- Location - Playground of Elementary School (Uptown)
- Req - Day, Clear weather; Complete Super Hide-and-Seek
-
Reward - 1181 XP, Meteor Badge
This is the final hide-and-seek challenge, where you will need to find a total of 20 people within 10 minutes. The only catch is that you have the entirety of Uptown Springdale as your playground and there are grownups included this time, so don’t be fooled if you see some, as they are participants and count. Since you have a lot of ground to cover, just run around and go after the runners, keeping an eye out for anyone that might be hiding behind objects/buildings. 10 minutes is more than enough to explore the whole area and find the 20 necessary people.
Yo-kai Banquet
- Location - Big room inside Old Mansion (Blossom Heights)
- Req - Complete Start the Yo-kai Party!
-
Reward - 1736 XP, Galaxy Charm
The banquet is about to be held and you are free to enjoy it. Talk to all of the small Yokai, then talk to Chirpster one more time to get to fight him! This boss battle (despite the lack of boss music) can be pretty challenging, as Chirpster is strong and he has two helpers, with some trickery involved. The two baskets can be targeted and even if you take them out, Chirpster will respawn them whenever you uses the Which Will It Be? move. This move will have you picking one of the two baskets (Chirpster is invulnerable during this) and if you guess the correct one, the enemies will take nice damage. If you guess wrong, then you will either take damage or Chirpster will get a big heal.
As for other attacks, the right basket can use Lickety Lick, healing Chirpster for a small amount. The left one can use Sloppy Lick , inspiriting a single Yokai (can’t move). Chirpster himself has a physical attack, as well as Gusty Winds , a wind attack against one Yokai. He can also use Chirpster Lovin’ , a move that inspirits one of your Yokai. His Soultimate attack, Lovely Birdancer , is a wind-elemental attack that can do major damage. The best thing to do is to concentrate solely on Chirpster, unless the baskets are doing enough damage to hurt your party a lot.
