You Snooze, You Lose is one of those trophies and achievements in Assassin’s Creed Mirage that can be annoying, simply because it might be missable. That means if you don’t actively go for it, you may be required to start the game again, up to the point that it becomes obtainable again. It will require you to pickpocket a guard after you put them to sleep with the Blowdart tool. Unfortunately, you will have to do a bit of the main story stuff first before you’re able to unlock this trophy/achievement.
How to Unlock the You Snooze, You Lose Trophy/Achievement¶
Before you can even think about doing this, you will need to progress the main story until you take care of your first target, Al-Ghul. Upon doing this, return to the Bureau, and eventually, you will speak with Abu Jafar to unlock a new Tools slot. At this point, you will have the choice to unlock one of four new Tools, but for the sake of this trophy/achievement, you will want to pick the Blowdart. When you successfully hit a guard/enemy with a Blowdart, you will put them to sleep. They stay asleep for 34 seconds, by default, or until you strike them with an attack or another guard wakes them up.
Note that you can upgrade the Blowdart to basically force enemies to stay asleep, no matter what. Now that you have the Blowdart unlock, you will need to find an enemy that you can pickpocket. Unfortunately, there are not many choices here, as the enemies you can pickpocket are scarce. It should be said that normal citizens who have items you can steal don’t count towards this trophy/achievement, so only pickpocket them when you need money or are required for a key. However, the enemies that hold the Mysterious Shards do count.
Mysterious Shards¶
As just mentioned, the enemies that have the Mysterious Shards do count towards this trophy/achievement. There are only ten of these enemies in the game, with two in each major region. If you start the Nehal’s Calling mission, which is available around the same time as you unlock the Blowdart, then the icons for the shards should be put on your map. Some of these enemies will be accompanied by guards, so you will need to get rid of the guards first, just to make things easier on yourself. Once you do that, use a Blowdart on the shard-wielding enemy to put him to sleep, then run up to him and pickpocket the item.
Keys from Guards¶
The other method of getting this trophy/achievement is by putting a guard with a key asleep. The only problem here is that they are kind of limited to certain missions, so you don’t have too many opportunities. Just keep a lookout for guards with the key icon over their heads. There is one spot where a guard will spawn outside of a mission. You will have to venture to The Bazaar location, which is in the Karkh region. It’s a pretty big place, so it’s not exactly hard to miss.
You’ll have to climb to the top, with one way to get there on the southwestern side. Look for some boxes there to reach some tents, which should allow you to find spots on the wall to climb. Go to the upper portions of the roof and make your way to the explosive pot you can see with your Eagle Vision. There will be other enemies in the area, including one that stops and talks to the guard with the key. Feel free to take them out, then when the target is alone, hit him with a Blowdart. Be careful here, as you might have to aim at his feet to connect since he is wearing armor.
Once the guard is unconscious, walk up to him before he wakes and steals the key. The key is used for a nearby chest that gives resources (right by the guard). The guard will respawn, but it’s unclear if the key will respawn at some point with him. If the key doesn’t respawn, then you will be left trying to get it via missions. There might be a few other instances where you’ll find an actual guard with a key, though. You will only need to loot a single enemy for the trophy/achievement.
