There are a variety of enemies (17 to be exact) in Helldivers 2 and they are separated into two categories: the Terminids and the Automatons. Scavengers are a part of the Terminid Fleet and they can be found on Terminid-controlled planets at any level. Helldivers 2 Scavenger Locations¶
Helldivers 2 has Personal Orders which are updated frequently, and these will require you to take down a specific type of enemy multiple times for a large quantity of XP and Credits which makes it one of the better methods of farming levels. If Scavengers are your current objective of the day, you should be able to complete it very quickly as scavengers are the most common Terminid enemies you can come across.
How to Defeat Scavengers in Helldivers 2¶
Scavengers are one of the easiest enemies you’ll come across on your missions and they can be killed within a couple of shots. However, they can become a threat when they swarm you, so you’ll want to make sure you’re well-equipped should this situation arise. To begin, you’ll want to unlock powerful automatic weapons, such as the Machine Gun or Stalwart as this will allow you to clear them out quickly because you won’t have to reload frequently.
If you’re playing solo, then we recommend that you bring along one of the turret stratagems as it’ll assist you with clearing out the horde. Additionally, you’ll come across Terminid Holes as a sub-objective and you’ll want to make sure you destroy these as it’ll reduce the amount of enemies that can spawn.
