This Assignment takes place during your first visit to the Citadel. Alternatively, you can encounter this step as part of the Citadel: Jahleed’s Fears Assignment.

How to Begin¶

Scan the Keepers is involved in two seperate paths during your first visit to the Citadel, with Scan the Keepers being the most common step for most players. After speaking to the Council for the first time, you’ll spot Chorban examining a nearby Keeper as you head down the stairs. Speaking with him and agreeing to help him will begin this Assignment.

Alternatively, should you ignore him or decline to assist him, you can begin the Citadel: Jahleed’s Fears Assignment by finding and speaking with Jahleed in the C-Sec Offices. Regardless of your choice, you’ll either collect data for Chorban or Jahleed.

Where to find the Keepers¶

You’ll need to scan a total of 20 Keepers to complete this assignment and if you’ve been diligent with your exploration of the Citadel so far, you may have spotted some already. In order to make your search easier, work on scanning all Keepers in each area before proceeding to the next. Upon scanning 20 of them, the Assignment will complete without you needing to return to Chorban.

The Tower¶

1. The first Keeper is right in front of you after speaking to Chorban.
2. Head east from the first Keeper to find a second by the seating area.
3. Go back up to the Council Chamber and into the southwest corner.
4. Before heading down the stairs to the fountain, head west and follow the path north.

Presidium¶

1. Directly south of the entrance to The Tower, next to Avina.
2. Southeast of the Wards Access, east of The Tower.
3. In the back of the room in the Volus and Elcor Office in the Embassy.
4. In the northern offices found in the Embassy.
5. The northwest balcony beyond the Embassy Lounge.
6. Outside the entrance to the Asari Consort building.
7. East of the Emporium, near the stairs leading up.
8. The back room of the Emporium to the south.

Security¶

1. In the Requisition Office.
2. Northern wall in Traffic Control

Docking Bay¶

1. To the south of where the Normandy docks.

Flux and Wards Access¶

1. Inside Flux Casino, at the back.
2. In the northeast room of the Wards Access, entered from the Upper Wards Alleyway or the Presidium.

Upper Wards¶

1. Outside the Med Clinic, to the east.
2. At the Upper Markets, in the northwest corner.
3. In the center of the Alleyway.

Lower Wards¶

1. Outside the entrance to C-Sec Academy.
