Start this quest by talking to Doctor Camden, who can be found on the Docking Bay/Common Area of the Nexus, near hydroponics. He’ll task you with finding plant samples on various planets throughout the Heleus Cluster. Kadara is a gold mine of edible plant samples, providing no fewer than four such samples - as many as Eos, Voeld and Havarl combined.
- In the toxic lake just north of the Kadara Slums. You’ll find this Edible Plant on a small island on the northern end of the lake. While you can reach this island by careful jumping, you’re better off completing “Healing Kadara’s Heart” first, and avoiding any possible sadness if you miss your job.
- From the Forward Station near the Kadara Slums, drive east along the road until you hit a fork. Take the northern branch at the fork and drive uphill until you find another fork, at which turn east down another branch. Drive past an outlaw camp and continue south until the road ends near a structure (the same structure where the unwitting experiments are housed - part of the quest “Mind Games”). Continue south from this structure to find a series of shallow, toxic springs. Make your way to the southern-most end of these springs to find a second edible plant.
- Southeast of the Kadara settlement site is a toxic lake. Make your way to the eastern edge of the lake to find an edible plant along the shore.
- Fast travel to the Draullir Forward Station and follow the nearby road to the east past an outlaw camp. The road will then turn north, then east again. When the road turns north a second time, park the Nomad and make your way east of the road to find a very busy landing pad. Two factions will end up fighting for control of this location, and the highlights include dropships landing troops, a Hydra mech and snipers on an Observation Tower. Make sure you’re the only thing left standing, loot the bodies, scan an Adapted Initiative Core Tech device, then continue south and slightly west from the landing pad to find a porous rock formation. Circle around to the southern end of this rock formation to find an edible plant to scan and collect.
