After some beauty sleep, you’ll awaken bright and early to begin your Free Day. To begin, head into the Male Bathroom to view an event with Ash then speak with Aurelia in the Training Hall for a Sub-event. Exit the Hall and head into the Student Store to challenge Stark to a game of Vantage Masters, upon winning you’ll obtain the Thief Card. Once you’re done playing Vantage Masters you’ll want to drop into Leeves Chapel to acquire a Copy of Black Records 3 off Rosine.

Side Quest: A Very Special Lesson¶

Go into the 2F Dorms to speak with Elise to begin the Side Quest, then you’ll need to answer a series of questions correctly for the full five AP.

• Question #1: What kind of place is ‘Celdic’?, you’ll want to pick the second choice, Market Town.

• Question #2: Which place in Crossbell is famous for Honey, you’ll want to pick the third choice, Armorica Village.

• Question #3: What is it that the Nord people worship?, you’ll want to pick the first choice, The Wind.

• Question #4: What is the popular snow sport in Ymir?, you’ll want to pick the third choice, Snowboarding.

• Question #5: For this question the choice is entirely up to you.

Once the class has finished you’ll gain a Tear All Balm along with 3000 Mira for completing the Quest.

Side Quest: Follow Your Dream Job!¶

Head over to the southeast bridge and speak with Franky to begin the next Side Quest of the day. Like the previous Side Quest you’ll need to answer a couple questions correctly in order to obtain the full five AP.

• Question #1: What’s a good way to test judgement, you’ll want to pick the second choice, Sort documents at the Branch Campus.

• Question #2: What’s a good way to test compassion, you’ll want to pick the third choice, I’ll check his reputation in town.

With all of Franky’s questions answered you’ll find yourself in Einhel Keep, simply following the path ahead whilst scanning any enemies you come across. Once you reach the end of the Keep you’ll gain a Brave Soul along with 2000 Mira for completing the Quest.

Branch Campus Quest: Way of the Tea Ceremony¶

Make your way back into the School and speak with Kairi in the Tea Ceremony Club room to begin the Branch Campus Quest. This Quest follows the same structure as the previous two, as you’ll need to answer the following questions correctly to gain the full five AP.

• Question #1: For the first question you’ll want to pick the third choice, Eat Everything.

• Question #2: For the second question you’ll want to pick the second choice, Bow head for grace.

• Question #3: for the final question you’ll want to pick the first choice, Wipe cup with fingertips.

After you have both finished your refreshing cup of tea you’ll acquire 3000 Mira and a Character Note for completing the quest. With all the Quests wrapped up for the day it is now time to use up those Bonding Points. Begin by going to the Academy Field and using a Point on Juna, then another on Machias via the Arcus II for a Character Note. Finally, use your Arcus II again and use your last point on Alisa to be taken into the Einhel Keep LV2 - Sub. This is just a couple of rooms so there’s no need for a map here, especially due to there being no Chests. Follow the direct path ahead until you reach the end of the path and take out the Great Geenew.

Once your moment with Alisa has come to a close you’ll want to head into the Hangar and speak with Mint to begin your Panzer Soldat Training.

Panzer Soldat Training¶

For todays Panzer Soldat Training you’ll need to defeat Hector Mk.II - Randy. When Randy is standing in the Normal Stance you’ll want to focus on the Arms, then you’ll want to hit the body when he has his weapon held horizontally in the Charged Stance. Finally, when Randy positions his weapon vertically in the Charged Stance you’ll want to hit his head. Continue focusing on the Weak Spots to build up your BP and then unleash a Unite to finish him off.

Head to Einhell Keep - LV3¶

After you’ve wrapped up the Panzer Soldat Training you’ll want to make your way over to the Einhel Keep to speak with Professor Schmidt to begin Einhell Keep - Lv3. Once you’ve made it inside Einhell Keep - Lv3 you’ll want to follow the path along until you climb down the second ladder, here you’ll find a Chest on your left that contains Tearal Balm, EP Charge III, Celestial Balm x1. Continue following the path to the right whilst hugging the right wall and you’ll eventually stumble across a Chest with All Sepith x50, now go back and go right to find the Computer Terminal, interact with it and then proceed further down that path to find another Terminal after you’ve climbed up the ladder.

Take the left path first and climb down to find the final Terminal of this area and interact with it, now climb back up and head left once more to find a Chest that contains Wind Bell, this halves the delay when using Wind Arts. Go back down the ladder on the right and head into Einhel LV3 - Midpoint, here you’ll want to take the left path first to find a Chest with U-Material x5, then continue along until you can see another left turn. Go through the vent and take the left path first to find a Chest that contains a Spirit Incense, now proceed along the right path to interact with the Computer Terminal.

Go back and head across the now usable bridge on the right, keep following the path along and crawl through the vent. Make your way to the end of the path and interact with the Computer Terminal, now head into the room on the right and open the Chest to acquire Curia SR, this gives you an Art to cure all ailments. Finally, interact with the last Computer Terminal and then head to the Northwest of the area to face, Oliphemus.

Boss: Oliphemus¶

Begin this battle by activating the Sledgehammer Brave Order and then use Rean’s Spirit Unification followed by an S-Craft to quickly put Oliphemus into the Brak Status, now activate Wind Blade to put delay on the boss and then continue using normal attacks to finish him off. If Oliphemus manages to get another turn you’ll want to make use of Altina’s Ebon Crest to reflect any incoming damage until you can get it back in the Break Status.

After the battle has been won you’ll return to the School to do a few more things before heading back to the Dorms.

Return to the School¶

Head up to the 2F and speak with Randy in the Terminal Room to challenge him to a game of Vantage Masters, upon winning you’ll acquire the Oonievle Card. Exit the School and drop into the Tavern & Inn to accept the quest, Precious Gifts for Precious People.

Branch Campus Quest: Precious Gifts for Precious People¶

Once you’ve accepted the Quest you’ll want to head into Nyo-Sui-An Imports to purchase a gift from Rod, here you’ll want to pick the first option Eastern Tea, now go into Carnergie Books & Games and pick up the Scenery of Erebonia from Rachel. Finally, drop into Lapin Boutique and talk to Elise and then pick up A stylish knit hat from Marus to complete the Quest. Here you’ll be rewarded with Invigorate, this is a Quartz that Restores CP when attacking enemies.

All that’s left for today is to use up those two Bonding Points on either, Altina in the Vegetable Garden, Ash in the Clubhouse, Towa in the Radio Station, and finally Fie via the Arcus II. Once you’re done you’ll want to return to the Dorms to advance the time to evening.

Panzer Soldat Training¶

After the cutscene has come to a close you’ll now take part in Panzer Soldat Training, here you’ll want to take the Spiegel S - Aurelia’s below 50% HP by attacking the correct weak spots. When Aurelia is in the Normal Stance you’ll want to focus on the Head, then when she transitions into the Charged Stance with the Shield up you’ll want to hit the Body. Finally, when she is in the Charged Stance with the Shield out to the side you’ll want to hit her Arms.

Once you defeat her with the Students, you’ll have to face her once more with Rean. Repeat the same method you used to defeat her previously and then you’ll view some scenes which will take you into the next day.
