Explore the Train¶

Before you arrive at your destination there are a few people to speak to. To begin, speak with Major Michael in Car 1, then talk to Principal Aurelia or Musse in 02-D of Car 2, now go into Car 3 and chat to Towa or Kurt before beating Ash at a game of Vantage Masters to acquire the Greon Card. Finally, speak to either Altina or Professor Schmidt in Car 6, then return to your room and rest up.

Leave Camp¶

Once you’ve arrived at Ostia and got off the train, speak with Pablo to purchase the following weapons, Kukoutou (Rean), Guardian (Juna), Crystal Swords (Kurt), Calamity Arm (Altina), Primavera (Musse), and Volcano (Ash). Head over to Stark and purchase the Imperial Chronicle - Issue 8, then go over to Tita and buy the Pandora Master Quartz. Finally, speak to Sandy to accept the Branch Campus Quest Legendary Recipe, then head out into South Ostia Highway.

Follow the path ahead and go behind the tree on the right to find a Chest that contains Tear All Balm, then head up to the north of the map to find a Fishing Spot and a Chest that holds All Sepith x50, now go to the southeast of the map to find a Chest with Lost Genesis R inside. Finally, interact with the shiny spot to acquire the Moon Truffle, then go to the east of the map to find a Fishing spot that has a Deep Grouper waiting to be caught. Open the nearby Chest to acquire Faint III, this gives STR+25 and gives a 25% chance to inflict faint, then head into Heimdallr.

Gather intel on the agents¶

After the cutscene has come to a close you’ll want to choose to explore Vainqueur Street first. Head into the Imperial Chronicle Building and speak with Vivi or Leitz to view a Sub-Event, then go into Plaza Bifrost Department Store to purchase the following items. Septetto Tea Recipe (Greg), Steinrose ’96 as a gift for Sara (Rinoie), Aurora Barrete as a gift for Juna (Lepanto). Exit the store and go into Lumiere Orbal Factory and purchase the Red Leather Key Case as gift for Ash, then drop into Le Saga Boutique and buy the Lovely Flat Cap as gift for Emma.

Fast travel to Vesta Street and go into the Foresta Tavern & Inn, here you’ll want to talk to Arendt to view a sub-event, then speak with him once more to purchase the Tomato Curry Recipe. Head into Lafite Bakery opposite the Inn and purchase the Croquette Burger Recipe, then go into the Holy Flat Apartments and examine the bookshelf on the first floor to acquire The Life of Tomatonio - Part 3. Finally, go into Herschel’s General Store to purchase the Ebony Brust as gift for Gaius, then fast travel to Leica District.

Here you’ll want to drop into the Vander Training Hall to view a sub-event, then go inside to acquire an updated Character Note for Kurt, now go inside Lucien Art Cafe and purchase the White Velvet Shortcake recipe. Finally, head into Rieveldt Company and purchase the Starry Night Minuet as a gift for Musse, then go towards the Imperial Museum to view a sub-event. Go inside the Museum and examine the bell, then fast travel to Sankt District.

Once you’ve arrived, examine the gate to the northeast, then go to the front of St. Astraia Girls’ School to view a cutscene, now go inside Heimdallr Cathedral to view another cutscene. Return to the Holy Flat Apartments back in Vesta Street and speak with Bernard to accept the Side Quest, Empty Nest.

Side Quest: Empty Nest¶

After you’ve accepted the quest you’ll need to head to the following locations to examine a Parakeet, Sankt District Fountain, Train Station, Northeast Pillar, Northeast Street Light, Left side of Fountain, and finally Hotel Valar 2F. Upon completion you’ll gain 5000 Mira.

Head to the Imperial Museum in the Leica District and speak with Rilke to accept the Side Quest, Does it Belong In A Museum?. This quest you’ll come back to during the afternoon portion of the day. Now fast travel to West Ostia Highway.

• Explore West Ostia Highway

Speak with Albert if you’ll like to use the Horses, then hug the left side of the path to find a Landscape Photo, send this to Vivi via the Arcus II. Continue keeping to the left side to find a Moon Truffle and a Chest that contains Celestial Balm EX, then go to the northeast to find a Chest with a Holy Symbol inside, this gives HP+1000/EP+100/SPD+5 and prevents Deathblow.

Head to the northwest to find a Chest with Seventh Caliber R inside, then go to the south of the map to find a fishing spot, here you can catch a Mega Arowana. Finally, go over to the west of the area to find a Chest with Fishing Bait x8 inside, then go on to take out the West Ostia Highway Monster.

Boss: Dicephalosaurus¶

Begin the battle scanning the boss, then activate Sledgehammer and work on getting it into the Break Status. Once you’ve achieved this, activate Wind Blade to put a delay on its turn and focus on using normal attacks until its next turn, then use any available S-Crafts to finish it off.

Once you’ve defeated the boss, return to Heimdallr to view an event. After the event has come to a close you’ll acquire a Copy of Black Records 4 and 5. Finally, go to Vesta Street to have dinner with Towa’s Family, then accept the quests to begin your Afternoon duties.
