The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD

Guardian

(1 of 2) The statue-like Guardians will chase you on foot.

These creatures roam the Silent Realm and can “kill” Link in a single blow, while being invincible.

If Link steps in Waking Water or does not find a Sacred Tear in 90 seconds after starting or finding a previous Tear, they will activate and chase after him.

Once activated, if Link collects a Sacred Tear before being hit, Guardians will go inactive for a period of 90 seconds.

There are two types of Guardians. The tall, very scary ones with a massive club will chase Link on the ground. Despite their size, they can run quite fast and their club has spectacular range.

The smaller, robed Guardians appear less frightening at first glance, but these carry a pair of deadly scythes and, because they can fly and pass through walls (uh oh), they can chase you from anywhere.
