A new member of the team joins Lightning now. Fang is an excellent Commando but is also a handy Saboteur at this stage too. Focus on Launch, Smite and Adrenaline (Commando) for Fang first and subsequently upgrade Saboteur to gain Slowga and the Accessory crystal. Upgrade Lightning a little too and equip useful accessories (but remember control will keep switching between parties in this chapter). Create War & Peace (COM and MED) and Divide & Conquer (COM and SAB) Paradigms before you set off.

Several groups of PSICOM operatives stand in your way but most are easily defeated, such is the power of l’Cie. The first group should pose no threat but behind them waits an Orion who you should not take lightly. It is susceptible to Slow however, so switch to Divide & Conquer until the ailment is in place and then finish it off with Slash & Burn. Continue to the next waypoint where control returns to Snow and Hope.
